Lihue Airport is a small airport located 2 miles (3 km) east of Lîhu‘e, on the southeast coast of the island of Kaua‘i, Hawaii. The airport does not serve as a hub for any airline. Numerous inter-island flights are available daily; there is also direct service to the mainland cities of San Francisco and Los Angeles. The airport's runway can handle planes up to and including the size of a DC-10.
